Silvery Lupine at Clear Creek Fishing Access
Many campers enjoy having a fire when camping at AHRA. That’s fine, but sometimes they forget to put the campfire out before leaving their camp. It is important that the fire be COMPLETELY put out. Use water on the fire and stir the water and ashes/charcoal until there is no more heat coming from the fire. This is especially important for those of you who use charcoal briquettes which can continue to burn for hours if not extinguished completely. Also, merely covering the fire with dirt does not necessarily put the fire out and it may smolder for hours possibly making for a dangerous situation, so use water to put the fire out. Let us keep the great out of doors safe from fires!!
Just a reminder that there are still many campsites available Sun – Thurs.
